Still Untitled - A WIP From The Upcoming Album Tentatively Titled S.A.L.A.G.I.A. by i220 & Speak Lexia
The curse goes back thousands of years.
The emperor of hell -- advocate of fear,
Can bear witness to the unholy burden.
I hate to recount who foreclosed on the garden.
I don't know if I should. Why? Of course I should.
It's for our own good -- to be understood.
Kings and Queens remember obscenities,
But we were the ones who delivered amenities.
Mine was what turned on and off starving.
I can't possibly speak of responsibility unnerving.
I don't know if I should. Why? Of course I should.
It's for our own good -- to be understood.
Ceasars wasted what Czars tasted.
Vikings and Pirates weren't the only ones lambasted.
We turned off the tap of our own self-control.
I've learned it's not wise to strip down the soul.
I don't know if I should. Why? Of course I should.
It's for our own good -- to be understood.
Presidents/Vice Presidents/Ministers of Prime.
Time after time, we've accepted their dime.
But, it's our 100. I'm the centurion.
The dominion may feel recourse due to the opinion.
I don't know if I should. Why? Of course I should.
It's for our own good -- to be understood.
C.E.O.s, M.O.s, bosses and division leaders --
Come gather under me. My mission: bottom feeders.
We'll slaughter the pig and rig the machine.
It's time to clean. What I mean -- the obscene.
I don't know if I should. Why? Of course I should.
It's for our own good -- to be understood.
You. Me. We're different animals.
The connection's abysmal -- outlook dismal.
And while the sun shines orange light on us all,
It's up to the fallen to answer the call.
I don't know if I should. Why? Of course I should.
It's for our own good -- to be understood.

Not sure if I should. But, damn it'd be good.
I could and I would. Am I understood?
I guess that I should. Better than good.
I will and I am to be understood.
I know that I'm good. And good is good.
I am the one. Understood?

LAST MONTH: http://www.themusicalrevolution.com/weblog/freestylelyricspoetry/index.html Lyrics, lyrics and more lyrics PLUS a whole new musical movement happening in my hometown of North Bay, ON, Canada which is turning out some seriously decent bands! Check in with The Hometown Hecklers, Sobriety's Rejects, The Lyrebirds, The Leftovers, Dig Newton, Wyld Skyz and on and on (all in these pages)...
IMPORTANT!: So it turns out that Jimmy Page's manager was talking out of turn (so to speak). Page, Jones and Bonham will NOT be joining forces with a new singer, doing an album and touring. Robert Plant was against the idea from the get go, deciding to continue writing new and relevant material with Alison Krauss - which I can never refute. But still, it would be nice to hear new Zeppelin stuff :D The one (old school) band that could probably make more relevant music is the one band that is still trying to hold on to it's integrity - ahhh, the catch 22. Would YOU buy new Led Zeppelin?
NEWS: Are they dumping tax money or donating to worthy causes? Madonna donated over three million to Kabbalah last year and $0.00 to her very own charity, "Raising Malawi."?.. Australian live music fans have created this CRAZY website that airs streamed live shows for free. Moshcam is great promotion for Sydney venues and national/international artists alike: http://www.moshcam.com ... http://www.warchild.org/ - buy their latest album, "Heroes". You get the likes of Lilly Allen, Elbow and Duffy all covering artists like U2, Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder - the best of all worlds all wrapped in an industry friendly package... Talk about prodigies. The NY Philharmonic is going to play a composition by 13 year old George Frankle this month. Smart kid - he still hasn't decided on music as a career - guess he heard, LOL!..
PROPAGANDA: FINALLY, I see what the fuss is about. Lilly Allen has a THIRD NIPPLE :D..
Everybody who is anybody in music/entertainment is on the Obama bandwagon but I still trust more in his bullet proof suit :S.. Sad but fitting :( There was a shooting at the premiere of "Notorious" the new Biggie movie. I'm finally getting sense of the true tragedy... Radiohead to play the GRAMMIES :((( Sorry Thom, not even you can make me tune in to the Payola Music Awards...
Love,
