Poetry: "Hell Hath No Fury" by Amber
i'll tuck my wounded heart away
but remember every word i say
you might not like me still
you might not now, but you will
years will pass but i'll remain
inside your thoughts a secret stain
you'll see me from a distance then
your mind will be back here again
and i will be burned in your mind
and i, in turn, will not be kind.

'WHORE' by Amber
I thought i was horny then,
24,25, way back when
twice a week and i was good
now just ask the neigh-bor-hood...
I'm just a whore!
a whore
a glorious whore!
My body will have you wantin' more
I have the looks all men adore
tight little bum and long brown hair
sweet little thing with sexy flair
I'm just a whore!
a whore
a glorious whore!
My moves will never ever bore
All you wanna do is make me sore
if you want some well get in line
I shall sleep with you in good time
cause....
I'm just a whore!
a whore
a glorious whore!

EDITORIAL:
'Cherry Chocolate Rain' by Tay Zonday: http://youtube.com/watch?v=2x2W12A8Qow
As the YouTube hit, 'Chocolate Rain' approaches 15 Million views, there's another Tay Zonday track that is racing toward 4 million itself. The video and song 'Cherry Chocolate Rain' may resemble the original but low and behold, it's just another soda pop advert :S This corpratization of yet another social/cultural phenomenon has stirred up shit back here in the ranks of TheMusicalRevolution.
My boy, feat. rants:
"Now it doesn't matter what he got paid, Tay Zonday will always be a one hit wonder for Chocolate Rain. The worst thing is that he used a song that was about racism towards Blacks in America and the world, as cryptic as it may be, and changed it to suit the Cadbury Schweppes Americas Beverages Corporation's message which perpetuated negative stereotypes of Blacks in the media. The suitcase full of money; treating women like objects; frivolous African elephant tusks and fur. He chose to do this instead of presenting a positive and inspiring example of a successful Black man in America. He could have shown that the nouveau rich can give back to the community and treat women with respect. He had the option and chose not to take it, and that will disqualify any serious song that he ever tries to make in the future. I hope that he realizes that the reason he will have to write another song about racism in America is because he is enforcing and propagating negative stereotypes of blacks for the black community to strive towards. Black America doesn't need the archetypal "Man" to get them down - Now they have Tay Zonday to do it for them.
feat.
You go brother!
Now.
WHAT DO YOU THINK?
Love,
Mattyy
MUSIC NEWS:
1. YAHOO JOINS FORCES WITH RHAPSODY: The Good = Rhapsody at Yahoo Unlimited prices (for a while ;). The Bad = Only 2 major players now (Rhapsody and Napster). The Ugly = Who uses these services anyway? LOL!
2. YOUNG SUDANESE WAR VET NOW A RAPPER: At the age of 13, Emmanuel Jal was a survivor of 2 wars. Now at the age of 26, He's trying to survive the music industry. His second album, 'Warchild' is due out on May 13 in the U.S. Best of luck :D
3. FERGIE SUPPORTS AIDS EDUCATION: As the face of MAC's new Viva Glam campaign, the superstar will be pimping 'Lipglass', but this is a win/win situation with all of the profits going to the cause!
4. U2 SINGER RAISES $43M FOR AIDS RELIEF: Only Bono can turn an innocent art auction into a massive charity event. The UN are the beneficiary of the "beautiful" one's latest "not so" random act of kindness.
5. LATEST KRS-ONE PROJECT TO STOP THE VIOLENCE: The 'Stop The Violence Movement' is back and this time the hip hop veteran has company. The Game, Chamillionaire, Nelly and David Banner are all slated to contribute to KRS' latest album/videos.
6. PETE WENTZ FOR THE KIDS: The non-for-profit organization, Invisible Children, hopes to raise awareness of the struggles children displaced by the war in Uganda face. The Fall Out Boy bassist wants you to know that.
7. DO YOU CARE?: WoooOOOOHHHHH! Damon Alburn and Lilly Allen almost worked together. Actually, it sounds like she listened to a bunch of his musical ideas and then left. Expect the new album by Allen to sound a lot like Gorillaz - LOL!.. Woah is me! Say it ain't so.. The Spice Girls world tour ended prematurely. He says that poor ticket sales are to blame. She says that the whole thing was too successful and becoming a burden. I say.. YiPee!!. And the winner of 5 Grammies is.. absent. The Oscars were gainfully enjoyed by my mother-in-law and my nephew's pet fish, Panko. Irrevelance has never been so popular ;).. WoW! The Game finally made it to jail. He didn't pass go, he didn't collect 200 pounds and he didn't really warrant writing about this month but thankfully, musical trash news was a little light this month - Life is GREAT!
Until next month,
We want to hear about YOUR music: http://Www.TheMusicalRevolution.Com/Weblog
