Africa - 2nd report:
Hit the 50th anniversary celebration at Independence square - got up at 4:30 to get there - hung 'til 9 - saw all of the prep and dignitaries - hung in the crowd for a coupla hours but got way too claustrophobic so had to go and catch the rest on TV :S
Did hook up with Rev. Joe. Got to go to the female prison and take part in a lesson. The ladies were very intent and gave the poor Rev. a run for his money with questions (he calls them lawyers).
Spent a day looking for Habitat for Humanity Ghana - We may have a placement in a village - we may not???
Still can't find the VSO (Volunteer Services Organization) to offer our services, if we can't help with Habitat.
Yesterday we chilled (things are pretty closed here on weekends).
Today we hit the beach/trade fair center.
Tomorrow the madness starts again.
