Poetry by Christine: TRIBUTE TO BOB!

his guitar was his machine gun,
in this war for unity,
people tried to shoot him down,
in his own community,

wounds in chest and arm,
wife shot in the head,
but he's still up on stage,
he'll never be dead,

locks covered his face,
he had the world in one hand,
everyone grew silent,
cus they knew it was timeA TheMusicalRevolution.Com Freestyle, Song Lyric or Poem
to take a stand,

he continued dancing,
not noticing the gas,
he was the teacher,
the world his class,

Prophet

Your abbreviated time.
Alleviated rhyme.
Cultural Heimlich manoeuvre,
Beyond The Louvre.

Inspire a movement,
Catch fire,
Groove pavement,
Prove to save;
Rent.

Scare oppressor,
Never lesser.
Even the field.
Wield,
Musical yield sign.

Conspiracy death.
Breadth of legend.
Send our,
Hope far.. wide...
Same side.

Not a god,
But good.
Would you do?
Of course you...
If.
