matty, here's the anwsers: softee got them alright except "day tripper", a day tripper was about a prostitute that tripped all over during the day doing tricks, i think that John had a thing with her.
here's the answers by softee:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Please Please Me
2. George Harrison
3. Paul McCartney
4. Who was considered the smart Beatle? -John
5. Who was considered the kinda dumb Beatle? - Ringo
6. What was the date that the Beatles appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show? - Feb. 9th 1964
7. What was John Lennon's first wife's name? - Cynthia Powell
8. Who stole George Harrison's wife from him? What song was written about her? - Eric Clapton, Layla
9.(this is the only one wrong) What was the song "Day Tripper" about? - So-Called "weekend hippies" - or something to do with drugs
10. What does "lucy in the sky with diamonds mean?" - Supposedly LSD, but John says that it was taken from a drawing his son Julian did, and that the "LSD" thing is merely a coincidence.

Angel sent me this "BITD" Tale about a wicked Thanksgiving partay that she attended. Not really about music but definitely an inspiration to all who want to give at this time of year in the great ol' USofA.
Angel: "I have been reminising about my party daze latey, and since it is close to Thanksgiving, in America, I wanted to share this story with ya all.
In l974, I was living in a really cool town called San Rafael, California. At that time, the bay area was so very excellent, there were so many hippies and just party down fun. Well, i wasn't near my family for the holidays and wondered what I was going to do for Thanksgiving. I was working as a gas station attendent at the time. This really cool dude used to come in all the time and we would bullshit. He would always give me a joint before leaving, very giving person and very funny. So anyway, he asked me what I was going to do for Thanksgiving. I told him my kids were going to be gone with my ex-husband, and my family wasn't close, so I would work that day. He said, "hell no, no one should be alone for Thanksgiving, come on over to my house. I'm having a bunch of my friends over. We'll smoke some pot, drink some wine and have a good time". I said, "Sure man, that sounds cool, I'll be there."
So i get to this dude's house, and man, there was a party going on. This was in the days of getting a three finger lid for $10 bucks, pot was cheap and good. This dude had bought a whole pound of righteous weed and he had laid the weed out in the frontroom, on a sheet. Everyone was helping themselves. We were feeling no pain at all. Well dude asks me can I cook, I said, "man, i can cook a mean ass turkey". So I ask him, "hey what ingredients do you have to stuff the turkey,?" he says " This, and hands me three hugh lids of pot. Man, I stuffed that turkey with all that pot and that was the best turkey I ever made. I also made marijuana brownies and some righteous pot tea. What a glorious and happy day that was, the best Thanksgiving I have ever had. Wish i hadn't lost touch with that great guy, he was such a good friend and one of the nicest humans I've ever met. He was a viet nam vet, a soldier, that got wounded on the battlefield. He walked with a limp, and was on social security, but that didn't stop him from really enjoying his life, and spreading happiness to all who were lucky enough to cross his path.
party on everyone
