Bobby "Boris" Pickett Lyrics - Monster Mash

Happy Halloween

"Monster Mash"

GoodEvening. Ahahahaha.

I was working in the lab late one night
When my eyes beheld an eerie sight
For my monster from his slab began to rise
And suddenly to my surprise

He did the mash
He did the monster mash
The monster mash
It was a graveyard smash
He did the mash
It caught on in a flash
He did the mash
He did the monster mash

From my laboratory in the castle east
To the master bedroom where the vampires feast
The ghouls all came from their humble abodes
To catch a jolt from my electrodes

They did the mash
They did the monster mash
The monster mash
It was a graveyard smash
They did the mash
It caught on in a flash
They did the mash
They did the monster mash

The zombies were having fun
The party had just begun
The guests included Wolf Man
Dracula and his son

The scene was rockin', all were digging the sounds
Eegore on chains, backed by his baying hounds
The coffin-bangers were about to arrive
With their vocal group, "The Crypt-Kicker Five"

They played the mash
They played the monster mash
The monster mash
And it was a graveyard smash
They played the mash
Its caught on in a flash
They played the mash
They played the monster mash

Out from his coffin, Drac's voice did ring
Seems he was troubled by just one thing
He opened the lid and shook his fist
And said, "Whatever happened to my Transylvania twist?"

It's now the mash
It's now the monster mash
The monster mash
It's now a graveyard smash
It's now the mash
It's caught on in a flash
It's now the mash
It's now the monster mash

Now everything's cool, Drac's a part of the band
And my monster mash is the hit of the land
For you, the living, this mash was meant too
When you get to my door, tell them Boris sent you
A TheMusicalRevolution.Com Freestyle, Song Lyric or Poem
Then you can mash
Then you can monster mash
The monster mash
And do my graveyard smash
Then you can mash
You'll catch on in a flash
Then you can mash
Then you can monster mash

man does the lyrics to the monster mash ever bring back great and groovy memories, the summer of 1964, me dancing my ass off to the monster mash at a summer dance, gettin my grove on and shaking my booty. love it

Quiet.
What's that?
Klick, klack, rat - at - tat - tat.
Up in the attic.
Blood.
Boiling frantic.
Oozing down the walls.
Pungent.
Invading your olfactory,
Like manure festering in pig's stalls.
Mogotting your brain.
Can't fight it.
Can't sustain.
Paranoia.
Monster mania.
Demons haunting your every breath.
Crawling through your insides.
Hope dies like clement weather.
Cold.
Your left standing corpse.
Empty collapse.
Fold like deuces.
Truces.
And join the undead.
Unfed.
Never to waken.
Nothing left.
Nothing said.

Independent artists check "Indiepool" for your latest release. Here's the details that they sent over to me:

CD MANUFACTURING
We guarantee a 10 business day turn time, after the artwork has been approved. To be safe, allow 15 business days and breathe easier knowing there is room for error, especially with the artwork. Please remember, the fall special (free retail, online and digital distribution, worth over $400) will end December 21st!

RETAIL DISTRO
It takes about 2 weeks to fully catalogue your CD with retailers across Canada, so that it can be ordered by retail buyers and customers.

ONLINE SHOPPING CART
We can pull this off in about 15 minutes in an emergency, but it usually takes 48 hours to get your shopping cart up with images, ready to take orders from your website.

DIGITAL DISTRO
This one can be slow because it's out of our hands. We turn things around quickly, but the line ups at iTunes, eMusic, Napster and others can be long. It takes between 2 weeks and 6 months to be fully available at all stores. Puretracks always gets things up quickly and others trickle in very inconsistently. We've seen iTunes get things up in 2 months at times and 6 months at other times. The wait can be long, but the digital sales cheques are really starting to roll in for artists these days.

T-SHIRTS
Any turn time is possible, but generally, allow 1 week if you are ordering regular t-shirts that aren't special ordered.

POSTERS
In-house poster printing can happen very quickly if need be. 48 hours is usually plenty of time to turn them around, but hey, it's in-house, so whatever you need.

STICKERS and BUTTONS
Usually about 3 to 4 business days, if there is no rush.

DOMAIN NAMES
24 hours.

GRAPHIC DESIGN
Since things are very busy around here, graphic design is in a 36 hour queue right now. In the deep and dark cold of February, that number is closer to 12 hours.

WEB DESIGN
As you know, we outsource our web design to Shanghai in order to save you money and get you the best design possible. Their turn times are weird because they work while we're sleeping. (If I ask for something at 5PM, it's done when I get in the next morning.) The office in China is very efficient and we can build great web sites quickly. A lot depends on how good you are at communicating your vision and providing the content.
