Poetry by Angel: Christmas Past

Part 2 of Angel's holiday offerings. Thanks my friend.

most of my life
christmas been a
bummer
sadness for the
loved one's
that didn't care
remorse for past
sins,

somethin changed this
christmas
i woke up
realized how much
i have
not what i don't have
looked at my man
sleeping next to me
he been such a tower
of strength
loving me no matter
what
got a warm home
lots of good food
close and true
friends
who needs the rest?
the anger, resentmentA TheMusicalRevolution.Com Freestyle, Song Lyric or Poem
and fear,
i'm cutting ya lose
old memories
just reminising
about how good
it be

Start your own revolution! Be heard... Get out there... A recent USA Today article begins, "Artists used to need a record label to be heard. Now, all they need is a powerful PC and a broadband connection. For any musician with at least a pinch of talent and a desire to perform, the Internet has become a godsend." Read the article for more on how to be heard without a record label. Thanks to Bob Baker for his pointing me the direction of this article.
